ABOUT OUR FUNDRAISING EFFORTS

Muddy Boots has a busy fundraising calendar led by a team of volunteers, with lots of fun events for the Muddy Boots' children, their families and the wider community taking place each year.

Over the last couple of years we have organised pumpkin trails, sponsored challenges, elf hunts and even a very special visit from Santa on his sleigh.  We've also engaged with members of local communities through running a range of events from pamper evenings, to bingo nights and garage sales.  We continue to be a major part of the Groove on the Green festival, running the catering and bar at the Comedy Night, which provides a massive opportunity for us to raise funds.

The money we raise is all used to buy toys and equipment for the setting, or to provide extra experiences for the children.  This has included the tablets the staff use to up-date Tapestry, the book bags, new library furniture, a craft trolley, scooters, balance bikes and many more items.  This summer saw the start of a big project to renovate the garden and playground area, starting with replacement of all the artificial grass.  We're delighted that this year's children's Christmas party is being funded by the money raised too.

We are always on the look out for new and exciting ways to raise funds for our pre-school.  So if you have any ideas please do speak to the staff or committee members or contact us any time by emailing muddybootsfundraising@gmail.com

If you, or someone you know is interested in supporting Muddy Boots but is not able to join in with one of our fundraising events, we now have the ability to accept online donations.  Simply go to the Muddy Boots pages on the CAF (Charities Aid Foundation) website, using this link:

You can make a one off or a regular donation and if you are a UK taxpayer, please tick the box for gift aid and we'll get an extra 20% on top of whatever you donate.  Every penny is gratefully received.
