Free Childcare Entitlement

Through government funding, every 2 to 4 year old child is entitled to free childcare of a maximum of 15 hours per week to help with childcare costs. Some families will be eligible for extended funding of up to 30 hours per week.

The funding blocks are September, January and April of each academic year. Your child’s funding will start from the funding block following their 2nd or 3rd birthday (subject to eligibility).

You will be approached by staff at the appropriate time to complete the necessary paperwork, if you choose to claim through our pre-school.

Invoicing

Any hours attended over the free childcare entitlement will be invoiced at the prices listed above. Invoices are issued at the beginning of each term, with the full term charged in advance and payable 14 days after issue.

Snacks

As well as invoicing for non-funded fees, we send information to parents inviting them to make a voluntary contribution to the cost of snack items we serve to your child during sessions (morning and afternoon). We suggest a cost of £1.50 per session. This helps with our grocery and supplies costs.

Breakfast Club

We are delighted to now be able to offer a Breakfast Club provision to our enrolled families.

Our aim is to provide a Breakfast Club that supports families by providing a safe, healthy and useful environment for children from 8:00am to 8:45am, Monday to Friday during term time.

We offer a selection of foods for breakfast, including a choice of nut free cereals, waffles, pancakes, toast, fruit, yoghurts, milk and water.

Bookings must be made at least 24 hours before the required session. Payment of £5.00 per session should be made at the time of booking, via bank transfer.
